From “we really need pictures” to photographs living in your home.

You don't need to know where to start.

You don't need to plan everything yourself.

And you don't need to become an expert in photography, framing, or wall-art sizing along the way.

We've created a guided process that takes you from the first conversation through the finished photographs you get to live with every day.

BEGIN YOUR EXPERIENCE

We take care of more than the camera.

A traditional photo session can leave you responsible for almost everything before and after the photographs are taken.

We wanted something different.

At View The Lens Studio, your experience moves through six intentional stages:

01 — Connect

02 — Plan

03 — Prepare

04 — Photograph

05 — Choose

06 — Bring It Home

We'll guide you through each one.

You don't need to have everything figured out before you begin.

01 — Connect

It starts with a conversation, not a checkout button.

Before we decide anything about locations, outfits, or artwork, we need to make sure we're the right fit for each other.

You'll begin by submitting an inquiry and telling us a little about yourself, who you'd like photographed, and what you're hoping to create.

From there, we'll schedule a consultation.

This is where we'll talk about your family, the season you're documenting, what you're drawn to, how our full-service experience works, and the investment involved.

Ask questions.

Tell us what's important.

Tell us what you're worried about.

This conversation gives us the foundation for everything we'll create together.

Ready to move forward?

We'll officially reserve your experience and begin planning.

START YOUR INQUIRY

02 — Plan

This is where your experience becomes yours.

There isn't one location, color palette, or formula that works for every family.

So we don't begin with one.

We'll plan your portrait experience around the people being photographed and what you ultimately want your photographs to become.

Together, we'll consider:

• The feeling you want your photographs to have

• The people and relationships you want documented

• Location options

• Wardrobe direction

• Meaningful details or activities

• Where you'd eventually like to enjoy your photographs

• Artwork possibilities

• Any concerns that could affect your experience

The goal isn't to manufacture perfection.

It's to walk into your session knowing we've thought through the details that actually matter.

03 — Prepare

No wondering what happens next.

As your session approaches, we'll make sure you know what to expect.

You'll receive the information you need to prepare without being buried under an overwhelming list of rules.

We'll confirm the important details, answer last-minute questions, and make adjustments when they're needed.

Have energetic children?

Someone who hates pictures?

A family member who needs a little extra time?

Tell me.

Your family doesn't have to fit photography.

We make photography work around your family.

04 — Photograph

Now you get to stop planning and simply be there.

When session day arrives, I'll guide you through it.

You won't be expected to know what to do with your hands.

Your children aren't required to sit perfectly still.

Nobody has to perform happiness for my camera.

We'll create the portraits we planned while leaving space for the interactions we couldn't plan.

The hand your child automatically reaches for.

The laugh that happens after someone ruins the “perfect” picture.

The way your family naturally settles together.

The little details you barely notice anymore because they're simply part of everyday life.

Those moments matter too.

05 — Choose

We turn hundreds of moments into the ones that matter most.

After your session, your photographs are carefully prepared for your selection experience.

Then we'll help you choose.

Not every photograph needs to become artwork.

Not every wall needs filling.

And you don't need dozens of nearly identical images simply because they exist.

We'll focus on the photographs that make you stop.

The ones that feel like your people.

From there, we'll consider what each photograph could become.

A statement piece.

A thoughtfully designed grouping.

An album.

A portrait for someone you love.

A collection of smaller pieces.

Or a combination created specifically for your home.

You won't be left staring at a gallery wondering what you're supposed to do next.

We'll figure it out together.

06 — Bring It Home

This is the part we've been working toward.

Once your artwork selections are complete, they're professionally produced and carefully prepared for you.

Depending on what you've chosen, we'll coordinate delivery and applicable installation options so the experience doesn't end with boxes sitting by your front door.

Then something changes.

The photograph that existed only for a fraction of a second becomes something you walk past every morning.

Your child sees themselves belonging to this family.

Someone who isn't always in the pictures finally has a place on the wall.

And the photographs we created stop being files.

They become part of your home.

That's when the experience is finished.

How long does everything take?

Full-service photography isn't rushed.

Your exact timeline may vary depending on the type of experience, planning needs, artwork selections, production schedules, and any specialty products involved.

You'll receive guidance throughout the process so you know what stage we're in and what happens next.

If you're photographing something tied to a specific date, such as a birthday, anniversary, graduation, holiday, or another milestone. Reach out as early as possible so we can plan appropriately.

BEGIN YOUR EXPERIENCE

Your job is surprisingly simple.

Show up.

Love your people.

Trust the process.

We'll handle the photography.

We'll guide the planning.

We'll help with the decisions.

We'll create the finished pieces.

You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what belongs above the sofa.

You don't need perfectly coordinated outfits.

You don't need children who behave like tiny professional models.

You don't even need to feel comfortable in front of a camera yet.

We'll get there together.

What you can expect from us.

Guidance without pressure.

We'll make recommendations and explain your options without expecting you to understand photography or artwork before you arrive.

Honesty.

If something doesn't make sense for your home, photographs, or goals, we'll tell you.

More isn't automatically better.

Patience.

Families are made of actual human beings.

Children have feelings.

Adults get nervous.

Plans change.

Real life happens.

We'll work with it.

Intention.

We're not trying to produce the largest possible gallery.

We're trying to create photographs worth keeping.

Follow-through.

Our responsibility doesn't end when I put the camera away.

We finish what we started.

You bring the people.

We'll help with the rest.

You don't have to wait until life is less busy.

Until everyone is older.

Until you know what to wear.

Until you've figured out exactly what you want hanging on the walls.

That's what the process is for.

Start with the people you don't want to forget exactly as they are right now.

Your people. Your story. Brought home.
